| Frequently Asked Questions |
| Where can I buy supplies and decorations with a magic theme? Ans. There are many party supply outlets on the internet that offer this. One that i have come across that has gotten good reviews is Birthday Express. Just click this link and search for "magic". For what age groups do you perform? Ans. We are not limited to any specific age group. Shows can be structured for kids from 3-93. Do you perform outside? Although outdoor performances can involve some hazards and on a windy day may eliminate certain effects that could possible be blown over by wind and damaged, outdoor performances are within the realm of possibility. These possible hazards can afford distractions and may in fact diminish the flow of the presentation . Here are a few tips if you are planning a party: 1. Try to choose a place with little distraction. Naturally, inside is better than outside (it is hard competing with outside noises and distractions).. Try to have the performance area away from an area where guests will be arriving or leaving as it will distract from the show. If the performance area is in a room that has toys and other objects that kids may be interested in, try to move or cover them up. 2. Try to avoid food during the show. This can be a major distraction and should be saved for after the show if possible. 3. Allow time for setting up the show. It is best to keep kids away from the performance area until the show is about to begin. This will allow time for arranging props and keeping things "a mystery". 4. Try to set the kids in an auditorium style on the floor, grass or blanket. Sit the birthday child near the magician. Remember that since this is a magic show, there should be no one seated behind the magician. 5. Avoid sitting younger siblings (toddlers) with the birthday child. Not only can this be distracting for the magician, but it may minimize the fun for the birthday child who's day it is. 6. Try to avoid noisemakers as they can be very distracting. 7. Keep pets in a separate room especially if one is named Schnoz |
